So I’m late on this post, sue me. Yoga… Yoga, yoga, yoga. I only made it about 20 minutes in before collapsing in a heap on the floor, haha. Though I will say overall I felt much better as far as pushing the lactic acid and such out of my muscles from the previous workouts. I’m pretty excited to tackle it again, I really want to regain my flexibility and I’m sure this will only help me on my path to achieving that goal. Though the endgame to this is much larger, and should I say combative
. Flexibility, endurance, strength, and a desire to keep motivated will all be a necessity in the final goal. P90x is something that is helping me train all of those attributes at once. I’ve been sleeping less (6-7 hours a night), but I feel more well rested then ever. Also not shoving those garbage burgers or Taco Bell into my system is probably helping an awful lot as well.
Though, last night I think I disturbed my brothers sleep as he has the room next to mine because I must have went to turn over on my other side and ended up headbutting the wall. Didn’t really phase me, as I don’t remember much after that. Obviously I was just really excited for today’s workout. Who wouldn’t be though? It’s legs and back today!!!!
I’m pretty interested to see how the workout will fair, my legs were always the strongest part of me and I believe still are. We’ll see what happens though, P90x always holds surprises so it’s up in the air.
Tomorrow is Kenpo and I’m going to have to pace myself for that I know it’s another cardiovascular routine so that leaves me at great risk for asthma attacks. I refuse to get my inhaler refilled though, I’m going to work through any future attacks without the assistance of a device. Every part of me needs to get stronger at this point and the lungs are just another organ (muscle) that need to get worked out. Tomorrow is going to be quite a busy day so if I don’t update tomorrow I’ll definitely make plans to write an entry for Sunday.
Everyone enjoy their day!
